Reynolds Hub: Gardening For A Healthy Future

The Reynolds Elementary Community School Initiative strives to build healthy children, academic success, and strong community through our programs.

Our school garden is just one of the many programs that support our community. We look forward to distributing fresh and healthy produce to our community members this week and in the weeks ahead.

Although in-person programs, such as our youth basketball league, are on hold during the community-wide shutdown, we have helped to distribute over 6,300 hygiene, cleaning, school, and food items through 20 mobile pantries since the start of the pandemic. We are also continuing to work with teachers, parents, and administrators to plan for the start of the 2020-2021 school year, including plans for a parent-led book discussion group on racial justice.
