Walking through the doors of a new place can be an intimidating experience!

At The University Church we hope to make it as easy as possible for you to walk through the doors. If you come to one of our worship gatherings on a Sunday morning or evening, you will see some people wearing blue T-shirts (if the weather is nice) or blue badges that identify them as “greeters” for the community.

Anyone in a blue T-shirt can help you!

Their job is not just to say hello to you but to help you find where you can get a cup of tea, coffee, or cocoa, where the childcare center is located, if you need to find it, where in the building the restrooms are located, and so on. Ask anyone a question and they’ll try to help but the people in blue T-shirts or with blue badges should know all the answers. Our pastor will be there before worship, so please say hello to him too!.
